Why are they important? In Latin America we promote peacebuilding processes and offer children the tools to contribute to these efforts. In Central and South Asia we engage with all areas of society to uphold children’s right to mental health. In Africa our work is designed to help children cope with the consequences of armed conflict and develop skills for a brighter future. In the Middle East we provide children from both refugee and host communities with a vital combination of education, protection and psychosocial support.
